Vincent van der Brugge

I'm a PhD Student at the Artificial Visual Intelligence group (AVI) at ETH Zürich, which is part of the Photogrammetry and Remote Sensing group (PRS). I am advised by Christos Sakaridis and Konrad Schindler.

I am working on 3D computer vision, particularly self-supervised object tracking. A big motivation of mine is the goal of building powerful vision models using large-scale data but no human annotations, enabling robots to perceive and act downstream.

Previously, I studied robotics at ETH and wrote my master's thesis with Josh Tenenbaum, Krishna Murthy Jatavallabhula, and Ayush Tewari at MIT's Computational Cognitive Science group (CoCoSci). Between graduating and starting my PhD, I worked at the computer vision startup Noimos for a year.
